The McDonald County High School students named me as Community Role Model and I was very proud of that nomination.
My mom took the picture from the magazine and put it in a frame along with a picture from my first time in the newspaper in 1996 after just starting at the Sheriff's Office and our new computer.
Had the opportunity to serve as Bailiff for the Honorable Judge Perigo at the old courthouse when they had a court day of using the old courtroom.
I helped Bailiff for many of our Judges as we grew and added court days and courtrooms.
I have had the opportunity to host several events such as a gathering at the flag pole to honor those lost on 9/11, a day of prayer event, moments honoring law enforcement that have been lost, and numerous other moments.
This is by far one of my favorite pictures!!!!!
I have worked and been involved in McDonald County Emergency Services my entire career and plan on continuing to serve HERE in McDonald County. I consider this home and always have as a Firefighter, EMT, Deputy, SRO, DARE Officer, Community member and leader.
